What We Do Not Publish

A website is, by nature, public. The Circle is not. The gap between the two is closed deliberately, by leaving certain things off this site altogether.

There is no member list, named or numbered. There is no calendar of dinners or salons, past or upcoming. There is no photograph taken inside a gathering, and no address of a room the Circle has used or might use again. None of this is an oversight; each is a decision, revisited and held to deliberately.

What you find here instead is the outer face of the room: what the Circle is, what it asks, and how one might, in time, come to be known to it. Everything beyond that outer face is kept for those already inside.

This extends even to enquiries. A note written to us is read by a small number of people and is not forwarded, quoted, or filed anywhere beyond the purpose of considering it.
