The Salons

The Society's Salons are closed by principle. The Circle's are closed further still.

Where a Society Salon gathers a room around a question, a Circle Salon gathers a smaller one, behind a door that is not marked and a time that is not published. Those who lead them are members who have lived the question, not commentators upon it. What is said does not leave the room, and the room itself is never named afterward.

These are not held on a calendar a member can check. They are convened, and a member of the Circle is told, once, where to be.

The chairs are drawn close before anyone is told to come.

The Door In

Circle Salons are drawn from the Circle. The door in is the Society.
