The Circle / Discretion
Discretion
What is said at the table stays at the table.
Discretion is not a rule the Circle enforces. It is a courtesy its members extend to one another, and it is the reason the room can be candid. No name is confirmed. No conversation is recorded, quoted, or carried out of the room. No gathering is photographed for anything but the Circle's own private keeping.

What We Ask Of Members
Nothing we don't practise ourselves.
We ask only what we practise ourselves: that what a member hears at the table, sees at a gathering, or learns of another member's business stays with them. This is the understanding every member accepts on being asked into the Circle, and it is not negotiated case by case.
What We Ask Of This Website
The same principle, publicly.
The same principle governs how the Circle presents itself publicly. This site does not publish a member list, a calendar, or a photograph from a gathering. What you find here is the outer face of a room that keeps its details to itself.
